I’m a PCT LASH-er!  Otherwise known as a Long A** Section Hike.

In 2014, I hiked from the US-Mexico border north 1200 miles to Sierra City CA, then hiked from Cascade Locks/Columbia River northbound through Washington state to the Canadian border for a total of ~1700 miles.

In 2016, I hiked north from Ashland, OR north to MacKenzie Pass (near Sisters OR), then went north to Portland/Cascade Locks and hiked south to Olallie Lake.  My original plan was to hike back to MacKenzie Pass, but a nasty bee sting necessitate I cut my section hike short.  So, I still have ~50 miles to hike in Oregon from MacKenzie Pass to Olallie Lake, and will probably hike all the way back to Timberline Lodge when I do this section.

2018 plan:  finish the PCT!  I plan to hike Northern California from Sierra City north to Ashland, OR, and then travel to Sisters to complete the 50 miles I still need to do around Mt Jefferson.
